About Me
Hello! Welcome to my website! My name is Josie Rios. I am a Southeast based actress available to work anywhere on the East Coast and willing to travel West! I have had a passion for acting since I was a child, always the first in line to audition for school productions, community theatre, and local films. In college, I began to gravitate more towards film acting and experienced my first professional works in web-series and commercials. Now with a good amount of experience under my belt, I am aiming to work on more television series and feature films. My goal role is to be the lead in a teen drama, along the lines of Riverdale or Pretty Little Liars! My love of acting was never something that was influenced or inspired, it has always been there and I am so excited and honored to able to live out my dreams professionally.

Hello Atlanta!
June 15, 2024
After a lot of deep breaths, I finally built the courage to make the big move to Atlanta; hello Hollywood of the East Coast! This move has been a long time coming, and though a scary, big change, I feel that relocating to Atlanta is the next best step for me to keep growing and pushing forward in my acting career. I have loved my time working in the DMV, but am excited and optimistic for the new opportunities this industry will provide me. Stay tuned as I take over Atlanta!
First SAG Set

Just wrapped my first SAG role on a feature film with a super high level production company - life is unreal!! Got my own trailer for the the day, met some AWESOME celebs and actors, and am now SAG-E! Thank you so much to Sylvia Hutson for getting me booked on this, it was an unforgettable experience and hopefully the first of many! Fingers crossed I stay in the final cut haha!
WMG: Global Silver Medalist

Super honored to have won Silver in the Global Finals Sprint Category of the prestigious World Monologue Games! It was an incredible moment when I heard my name announced as one of the winners. Having competed alongside some of the most talented actors worldwide in the qualifiers and regional level, I didn’t expect to place in globals at all. Even less did I expect to learn that I am the first person from the USA to place top 3 in the competition – not so bad for my first time competing! Competing at every level, especially on the global stage, was such an honor, and I am very grateful for everyone’s support!
