About Me
Hello! Welcome to my website! My name is Josie Rios. I am a Southeast based actress available to work anywhere on the East Coast and willing to travel West! I have had a passion for acting since I was a child, always the first in line to audition for school productions, community theatre, and local films. In college, I began to gravitate more towards film acting and experienced my first professional works in web-series and commercials. Now with a good amount of experience under my belt, I am aiming to work on more television series and feature films. My goal role is to be the lead in a teen drama, along the lines of Riverdale or Pretty Little Liars! My love of acting was never something that was influenced or inspired, it has always been there and I am so excited and honored to able to live out my dreams professionally.

Signing with Devise Talent

You're looking at the newest face with Devise Talent Agency! Blessed to have just signed with this new agency and excited for the opportunities that will be coming my way with them! Devise will be representing me within the Southeast market, with a focus on tv/film and I am confident they will be pushing me into the next step of my career. While I love commercial work, I have always had the goal of expanding into tv and film, and I am hopeful that Devise will take me further into that direction.
Back Onstage?

There's no place like home, and home for me has always been onstage! After 5+ years away from theatre, I've decided it's time to get back to my roots and I have auditioned for a handful of 2026 stage productions! Definitely a little rusty - film and theatre are much more different than you would think! - but it was so refreshing to get back into a rehearsal hall and dive into material that kickstarted my passion for acting all those years ago. Fingers crossed I might land some fun live roles for next year, but even if not, a good theatre audition was just what I needed to get my head back in the game. By no means am I stepping away from film/tv, just reconnecting with my passions and the arts!
WMG: Global Champion!

Super honored to have won gold in the Global Finals Sprint AND the Main Professional categories of the prestigious World Monologue Games! It was an incredible moment when I heard my name announced as the winner for both of these. Having competed alongside some of the most talented actors worldwide, I did not think I'd place top of the podium at all. Even less did I expect to learn that I am the first person to ever win gold in two categories! Competing at every level, especially on the global stage, was such an honor, and I am very grateful for everyone’s support!
